For Selling $500k Supercar

John Cena is on Ford’s $#&% list for allegedly flipping his new $500k ’17 Ford GT — violating a contract with the company — and they’re takin’ him to court.

According to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Michigan, Cena was “selected from thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase the Ford GT.”

Ford says Cena signed a deal in which he agreed to hold onto the car for at least 2 years … prior to unloading it.

However, Ford claims, soon after receiving the car, Cena flipped it for a big profit.

“Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale.”

Ford is demanding that Cena hands over all the profit from the sale, as well as other damages.

According to the suit, for his part, Cena told the company he sold the car, along with other property, to pay bills.

FYI — Cena ain’t the only celeb who’s had the GT … Justin Verlander and Joey Logano also own the whip.

The long winter: ‘Game of Thrones’ fans in four-day viewing marathon

LONDON (Reuters) – Ice zombies and fire-breathing dragons plague the characters in the hit fantasy TV series “Game of Thrones,” but for fans who took part in a four-day marathon to watch the series’ 67 episodes back-to-back, a pained rear end posed a greater threat.

The marathon viewing began on Monday evening in London’s Prince Charles Cinema, and concluded on Thursday evening, and was held to mark the upcoming release of the program’s seventh series on DVD on Dec. 11.

“To see (it) all in one chunk will give you something different, that we don’t get when we’re waiting around for the next season to come. They won’t get the irritation that we all get,” said actress Hannah Waddingham, who plays the ill-fated Septa Unella in the series and attended the opening night.

Around 350 people attended some of the screenings over the four-day event, while only seven hard core fans managed to last from start to finish.

One of the participants described the screening as an “endurance race,” and mindful organizers handed out survival kits containing tissues, alcohol gel and dental supplies.

“Game of Thrones” tells the story of warring factions in a dragon and zombie filled medieval fantasy world, where winter lasts for years. It has garnered critical praise and a huge international following over its seven series.

The show’s eighth and final series is expected to premiere in late 2018 or 2019, though a release date has not been officially confirmed.

Kaling stayed mum on her pregnancy directly following the July 17 news, not confirming anything until August. That month, she opened up about both her anxiety and excitement surrounding the new chapter in her life during a chat with Willie Geist for Sunday Today.

In October — a month after sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the baby on the way was a girl — Kaling divulged to Ellen DeGeneres that her first child would indeed be a daughter.

“I’ve had a pretty great time of it so far,” The Mindy Project star and creator said of her pregnancy at the time. “But I think I took a lot for granted before this, now that I’m my current situation — like, sitting. I’m obsessed with sitting.”

Google Home learns how to multitask

Google’s smart speaker got a little smarter this week, with the addition of a multitasking feature. The new capability makes it possible for the device to accomplish two different missions at the same time. It was rolled out with little fanfare and first noted by CNET. We’ve since confirmed the addition with Google.

It’s a bit surprising that the company rolled it out to Home units with no mention. It’s a handy addition to what’s essentially been a single-minded device. The company has been promising to add Routines since the Pixel 2 event a few months back, essentially creating pre-determined scenes that tie a bunch of actions to a command (something that’s been supported by both Siri and Alexa for a while). This is something else, though.

Rather than having to preload all of that via an app, you can simply ask it to perform two jobs simultaneously. Only two, though. Not three or four — that would be flying a little too close to the sun. You also have to separate tasks into individual commands, as the device won’t understand two tasks crammed into the same sentence. Even though it’s limited, the silently released feature is arguably more handy than the forthcoming Routines as it can be accomplished on the fly.

In spite of letting Alexa get a pretty massive head start, Google’s done a pretty solid job playing catch-up to the Echo’s existing skill set. The new one comes as the company readies Home Max, a premium addition to the Home line due out sometime next month.

Rick Pitino Sues Louisville For $38 MILLION!!

Rick Pitino

Sues Louisville …

You Owe Me $38 MILLION!!

11/30/2017 3:02 PM PST

Breaking News

Rick Pitino is suing the University of Louisville Athletic Association for 38 MILLION DOLLARS … claiming they breached his contract when they gave him the ax in October.

In the lawsuit — filed in U.S. District Court — Pitino’s attorney is attempting to recoup the $4.3 million his client was to make each year through 2026 … 9 seasons worth of salary.

The suit states that the ULAA — the part of the University that oversees athletics — didn’t give Pitino a 10-day notice prior to firing him — as his attorney says was mandated by his contract.

This ain’t the first suit Pitino’s team has fired off … last month they sued Adidas for terminating their multi-million dollar deal with the coach.

Pregnant Khloé Kardashian Wears Grills and a Sports Bra on Instagram

Mama’s got a brand new grill.

On Thursday, Khloé Kardashian posted a trio of glam photos showing off her pregnancy style. In the pictures — none of which featured her stomach — the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wore a bright blue sports bra, which she accessorized with a cross necklace and a gleaming grill.

“Mean mug,” Kardashian wrote alongside one of the photos as she placed one of her long pink nails on her lips, emphasizing her new accessory.

But while the Good American designer may have struck a “mean mug” for one photo, in the second picture of the set, she struck a more serious tone.

“💕 I choose to start each day with a grateful heart and a happy state of mind 💕,” the expectant mother wrote.

And then she got a little silly as she suggested she was having trouble deciding which frozen dessert to have as a treat.  “Hummmmmm… ice cream or fro yo? Yummm,” she wrote alongside the last photo.

While the 33-year-old has yet to officially announce her pregnancy, as multiple sources previously confirmed to PEOPLE, she and NBA player Tristan Thompson, 26, are expecting a boy together — due to arrive in early 2018.  This will be Kardashian’s first child. Thompson is also dad to 10-month-old son Prince Oliver.

Kardashian did make one thing with Thompson official recently: A KUWTK episode earlier this month marked the first time the Cleveland Cavaliers player appeared on the show. He and Khloé have been dating since September 2016.

“I just feel like Khloé has met her perfect match,” momager Kris Jenner gushed during the episode.

Senate tax bill approaches ‘vote-a-rama,’ boosted by McCain support

The Senate on Thursday moved closer to passing legislation that would overhaul the country’s tax code as lawmakers readied for a so-called “vote-a-rama” on amendments that could last well into the night before a final vote takes place.

The prospects for the bill’s passage improved Thursday with Arizona Sen. John McCain and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski saying they support the tax bill. Republicans only have two votes to spare in the Senate, where they hold a 52-48 edge.

The Senate was expected to begin voting on a series of amendments to the tax legislation Thursday before the bill comes up for a final vote Thursday or Friday.

“We’re heading down the home stretch,” McConnell told reporters Thursday.

President Trump traveled to Missouri on Wednesday to promote the bill, encouraging his supporters to pressure their Republican senators to back the legislation.

Other Republican senators whose votes are being closely watched: Steve Daines of Montana; Ron Johnson of Wisconsin; Susan Collins of Maine; Bob Corker of Tennessee; Jeff Flake of Arizona; Jerry Moran of Kansas and Marco Rubio of Florida.

Meanwhile, a new congressional analysis found the Senate tax package would add $1 trillion to the budget deficit over the next decade, much less than previously estimated.

The new analysis by the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation shows the tax package would increase economic growth, generating an additional $458 billion in tax revenue. The committee previously estimated the package would add $1.4 trillion to the deficit.

The additional revenue is a boost to the bill but is still far short of the $2 trillion promised by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

The tax overhaul cleared a key procedural hurdle in the Senate on Wednesday on a 52-48 party-line vote, allowing senators to start debate on the legislation.

As it stands, the Senate’s tax overhaul plan is different from the House’s version. The two chambers would need to come together on a unified piece of legislation to advance to Trump’s desk.

Under the Senate bill, the standard deduction – which reduces the amount of income that is taxed – would increase to $12,000 for individual filers and $24,000 for married couples.

When it comes to reducing the corporate tax rate, both chambers want to see the tax rate lowered to 20 percent from 35 percent. However, the Senate measure would delay the implementation for one year.

The Senate’s tax plan would eliminate state and local tax deductions – meaning taxpayers in high-tax states would lose a write-off. This would affect mostly blue states, including California and New York.

The Senate’s tax plan also includes a repeal of the individual mandate, the ObamaCare requirement for Americans to have health care.

The Senate tax reform measure would leave the mortgage deduction pretty much alone, capping it at $1 million. The House plan, on the other hand, would drastically reduce the cap on the popular deduction to mortgage interest to $500,000.
